Contemporary Western & Wildlife Art by Raven Skye

Howdy there!  I am a full-time, professional, western artist focused on painting wildlife, nature & landscapes that I encounter in my adventures.  It is my sincere hope that my work inspires you to take pause, enjoy a healthy dose of awe & wonder, & encourages you to take notice of how Nature speaks to you.

Currently, I mostly work with professional Acrylics & inks on canvas or panel, & occasionally I work with watercolors, pencil and-or pen on archival paper.  I create much of my work in the studio, but am striving to balance my in-studio time with regular outings for more *in the field* plein-air studies & sessions. 

Nature has always been my teacher, my mentor, my comforter, my disciplinary & my inspiration.  I feel extremely blessed to have been deeply rooted in Nature from a very early age.  It is the truest & purest joy I have every known, and what good is joy if coveted & not shared...
